SoloWord 1.2.0 / Release notes

SoloWord 1.2.0: online duels, coins and new hint options

SoloWord 1.2.0 is available on Google Play for Android. The update adds live competition and a coin system while keeping the central idea: find a hidden word by following the meaning of your guesses.

Play against another person

Online Duel adds quick matches and rooms that friends can join with a code. In a shared-word duel, both players search for the same hidden answer with independent attempts. You can watch the opponent's progress while choosing your own next guess.

A separate word-exchange option lets players set secret words for each other. It gives the match a personal element: you choose the puzzle your opponent must solve. Check the selected duel type and its rules before starting. Read the complete duel guide.

A balance you can earn and use

The new coin system includes rewards for supported wins and the Daily challenge, coin packs in the shop, coin hints and entry to coin duels. Check each mode's displayed conditions to see what you can earn or spend.

The winner of a coin-entry duel receives 90% of the combined pool. Two 100-coin entries, for example, create a 200-coin pool and a 180-coin winner payout. See coins and hints for the distinction between a payout and net gain.

Choose how to get your next clue

Where hints are available, you can use the offered coin option or a rewarded ad. A hint gives you a meaningful step toward the hidden word. It does not replace the need to understand how that word connects to your previous guesses.

Friend mode continues without hints. Hint availability also depends on your progress; if you are already very close, another hint may be unavailable.

Your other ways to play remain

Classic rounds, the Daily word, categories and custom Friend challenges remain alongside Online Duel. The game supports English, Russian, Armenian, Spanish, French, German and Chinese.

New to SoloWord? Start with the first-round guide and the explanation of closeness scores. They include practical examples instead of assuming that you already know how a semantic word game works.

Get the update and report problems

Open SoloWord's Google Play listing and use Update if it is offered. The app's installed version should show 1.2.0 after the update. If you encounter a connection, purchase or gameplay issue, use the support checklist to prepare a report.
